Fady Chalhoub is the MENA Financial Services Cybersecurity leader at EY based out of Riyadh, with over 20 years of technology and cybersecurity experience acquired both at the supply and demand side. Over his career Fady served as a CISO, as well as a consultant and trusted advisor to senior executives and board of directors for companies, banks and government entities across MENA, GCC, UK and Australia.
Fady Chalhoub is a technology enthusiast with a proven track record of delivering cybersecurity projects that align, enable and empower business strategies, these projects cover the breadth of the cybersecurity space and include cybersecurity strategy design and implementation, cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance “GRC” framework implementations both in the financial services sector as well as the government sector, cybersecurity operations center “SOC” design and deployment for financial services and government, cloud security transformation projects, Identity and access management deployments targeting client facing banking applications and internal staff applications, as well the building of cybersecurity management and awareness programs built around international standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS and NIST CSF.
Fady Chalhoub is also a lecturer and member of ISACA since 2006 and has served on the ISACA education committee contributing to several cybersecurity initiatives with the purpose of providing awareness towards the cybersecurity profession in the MENA region.
